This right-hand, passenger-side 8k electric brake is built to work hard and stop strong. First, it bolts directly to a standard four-bolt brake flange. Then, it lines up perfectly with Dexter 8K axle configurations. It also cross-fits Lippert axles and other brands that follow Dexter-style patterns. Because the shoes, magnet, springs, and adjuster come pre-installed, installation is faster and easier. Next, this assembly handles heavy loads with confidence. The large 12.25″ drum surface spreads heat more evenly. As a result, brake fade is reduced. Service life increases. This matters most on equipment trailers, dump trailers, and large enclosed trailers that see frequent use. However, proper break-in is essential.
