High grade Premium Binchotan natural white charcoal used for traditional Japanese yakitori from Laos. Same as used in restaurants in Japan. Restaurant-grade high burning temperature, does not contain any chemicals, all natural hardwood. A higher carbon content means that you will get more heat and less smoke from your charcoal. A good test for quality charcoal is the sound it makes.
