While most reviews are referencing how easy to pick the lock, I will concentrate on ease of use, functionality, fit of key and window placement. Then you will understand my reasoning.This is not a high end security lock, just a mere inconvenience for a potential thief.The combination that you program can be any number literally from 1 digit to 12 digits. You simply push the numbers and turn the knob to unlock. So let’s say you decide on a 4 digit code, 6135 All you have to do is press these 4 numbers in any order to unlock. 3165, 5631, 6315, 5136 etc, will unlock the box. The same goes if you pick a six digit number, 5#24*3, Any order you push them, provided that you press these digits, will unlock the box. Numbers cannot be repeated. Any repeated digit will cancel it self. For example if you decide on 1363, any combination of the 3 single digits will unlock the box (136, 163, 631, 316 etc).The faraday pouch is very small. It is difficult to insert a smart key. It fits tightly, but only the keyfob, not any additional items. The pouch fits tight in the lockbox. It does work in shielding the signal so you can place the box on the window. Your door will not unlock.The window placement made me a bit nervous, as the metal hook bend is a narrow V at the top not sitting well on the glass, from fear that the window may break (see picture with arrows). It did not, but it could have been better!For me it is still a very functional lock box for my needs.I bought this to simply lock my key when I go to the beach in Greece. I often go alone, park the car next to the water (anywhere you go in the islands there is a beach and a road that runs next to it!…) and like to lock all my processions in the vehicle. I used to simple take the key with me in the water while swimming. Unfortunately, todays keys cannot get wet. So I simply lock everything in the vehicle and then lock my key fob on the window, which is a lot better than leaving it on a bag on the beach towel while I am swimming. Anybody could take the bag and make a run for it! By the time I come out of the water they can be gone.As you can see, for my circumstances, it’s a 5 star lock box. It is mechanical and reliable, it is well made and it works.I would have liked a bigger faraday pouch and a better window hook, not to make me nervous every time the auto window closes.It works well for me!
