Advanced Bark Training Shock Collar with 7 Levels Sensitivity Control

I’ve always been one of those people who bristled at the mention of using a “shock” collar on dogs, and considered it inhumane. Then one of my best friends moved into an apartment building and had two choices: find a solution for her insanely yappy papillon or get kicked out. She had tried numerous training methods and other things, but there was nothing she could do to employ them when she wasn’t home. After a great deal of research, she settled on this collar. In less than a day and after only one very minor ‘zap,’ Pip was a new dog. She actually seems substantially LESS anxious now that she knows she can’t bark the alarm at every sound – like she’s been absolved of having to play watch dog. I’d never have guessed that would happen.What I love about this collar is that is gives the dog multiple chances to stop barking before ever receiving a zap. Once the dog realizes that there are increasing warning beeps, which all 4 dogs I have seen in this collar learned after only one of the lowest strength zaps, they all stop after beep #2. Even a hardcore professional barker like a papillon and an especially verbose beagle. In addition, I put the collar on myself – the lowest strength isn’t painful, just attention-getting, and you can reduce the intensity to very low. I needed that assurance because I would not be okay with using anything painful on a dog. In fact, one beagle wore the collar for a few hours for 2 days, hasn’t worn it since and still isn’t barking excessively 5 days later. And he barked like a boss!I would still utilize every other method first before resorting to a collar like this, but I have learned that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances where I feel this would be appropriate.I can’t speak to the durability of these colors yet, as we’ve only had them a couple weeks, but so far so good.
