The back and sides are made of walnut, which brings out an earthy, woody tone and boasts a deep, rich wood grain texture. All Bridgeport Guitars are built with distinct and artfully-designed features that are tailored to the fingerstyle player: walnut bindings with fully pronounced arm bevels, ebony fingerboards, wider neck and string spacing, and flatter heels for optimal reach in the high register.
