These stayed on my 5 month old puppy’s lower leg/upper paw well, without the need for additional tape. The taste also discouraged licking biting the bandage a little better than the stuff I had bought at Pet Supply Plus. I still did add a few squirts of the Bitter Apple spray most of the time but if I skipped it she didn’t lick it a lot just a little once in awhile. The incision we were covering was large with lots of stitches and in an area where she was walking on the edge of the bandage, so if it worked for her, it was pretty good stuff.
